# Clovis Testnet Faucet Guide

The [Clovis Testnet](https://testnet.clovis.network/) Faucet provides free testnet stablecoins so you can try deposits, bridging, and other features across supported chains without risking real funds.

Testnet tokens have **no real-world value** and may be reset at any time.

***

## What you need

Before getting started, make sure you have:

* A compatible wallet installed (MetaMask, Rabby, or OKX recommended)
* A desktop browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Brave recommended)&#x20;
  * Mobile version supported
* A small amount of native testnet gas on your chosen network (Ethereum, BNB Chain, Sei, and Base)

***

## 1. Connect to Supported Testnet Networks

![image.png](https://1911326218-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FAVHC81FYBgMAILvctkBu%2Fuploads%2FJzB36FxvMsCsvZk8UmU7%2Fimage%20\(84\).png?alt=media\&token=e009f59d-9619-45a6-b60c-9336aecb53b8)

Most wallets (MetaMask, Rabby) will auto-detect the correct network when you connect to the faucet. No manual setup needed.

> **Wallet not detecting the network?** You can add it manually under **Settings → Networks → Add Network**:

### Switch RPC from Network Settings

Using Rabby Wallet extension as an example (similar in most wallets):

<figure><img src="https://1911326218-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FAVHC81FYBgMAILvctkBu%2Fuploads%2F1mDhXZNSz7mq9DV7h6FQ%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=41c990d1-9338-4dc7-94c4-a0df9ede76f1" alt="" width="370"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

1. Open wallet
2. Click ⚙️ (Settings)
3. Go to **Networks / Add Network**&#x20;
4. Select **Sei Testnet**
5. Edit the network → update or switch RPC
6. Confirm

### Recommended RPCs (Sei Testnet)

* <https://sei-testnet-public.nodies.app>
* <https://evm-rpc-testnet.sei-apis.com>

### Notes

* Switching RPC can fix failed or slow transactions
* Testnet RPCs may be unstable → keep multiple options

## 2. Get Testnet Gas (if needed)

Faucet claims require a wallet transaction approval, so you'll need a small amount of native testnet gas before you can claim.

The faucet UI includes a **Need gas?** shortcut that links directly to the appropriate gas faucet for your selected network.

<figure><img src="https://1911326218-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FAVHC81FYBgMAILvctkBu%2Fuploads%2F0BZRkZBY0nGFzWBm3SgT%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=5b952e8a-929c-4ffd-b80b-bc6efca3de4a" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

> **Note:** Gas faucets are operated by external providers and may have their own restrictions: mainnet balance requirements, social login, CAPTCHA, or rate limits. These are outside Clovis' control.
>
> ⚠️ Clovis does not endorse third-party faucet websites. Verify the source and review transaction details carefully before approving any wallet interaction.

## 3. Claim Testnet Stables

![image.png](https://1911326218-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FAVHC81FYBgMAILvctkBu%2Fuploads%2FkAiA4GvlgidQK16xAG30%2Fimage%20\(94\).png?alt=media\&token=7e433cb8-b7a4-4513-8fb6-3b801648aabb)

1. Open the **Faucet** page
2. Connect your wallet
3. Select the network and token, then click **Claim**
4. Approve the transaction in your wallet
5. Testnet stables should arrive shortly

You can claim **10 USDC or USDT per day** to ensure fair access for all testers.

💡 **Note:** Testnet USDC and USDT are **not issued by Circle or Tether** and have no real-world value. They are test tokens used only for testing Clovis features.

***

## 4. Check Your Wallet

After claiming:

1. Open your wallet
2. Confirm that testnet stables have arrived

![image.png](https://1911326218-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FAVHC81FYBgMAILvctkBu%2Fuploads%2FZYJHpVUmqcyRL33hzydG%2Fimage%20\(95\).png?alt=media\&token=2a3d26ea-9aee-4c67-833a-1d42f2ffe143)

Token delivery may take a few seconds.

> **Don't see your tokens?** You may need to manually import the token contract address. Go to **Assets → Import Token** and paste the contract address below:

| Token | Chain        | Contract Address                           |
| ----- | ------------ | ------------------------------------------ |
| USDT  | BNB Testnet  | 0x8688C32E36f865B733A15477d07F8b70Ea2169AE |
| USDC  | BNB Testnet  | 0x690378E9c66c4b106B5fF25077689F8f6955aB0e |
| USDT  | Sei Testnet  | 0x8688C32E36f865B733A15477d07F8b70Ea2169AE |
| USDC  | Sei Testnet  | 0x9bB6677255825C2E1d8872BC440107e0d58519Cd |

## Common issues

* **Wrong network selected** Make sure your wallet is connected to the correct supported testnet network.
* **Faucet cooldown reached** The faucet allows 10 USDC/USDT per day per wallet. Wait for the cooldown to reset.
* **No gas for the claim transaction** Use the **Need gas?** link on the faucet page to get testnet gas from an external provider (see Step 2).
* **Tokens not showing** Refresh your wallet or manually import the token contract (see Step 4). Wait a few moments for balance updates.
* **Transaction failed or faucet is down** The faucet may be temporarily unavailable during high traffic or maintenance. Try again in a few minutes, or check [Discord](https://discord.com/invite/yei) for updates.
