# Borrow

Use an eligible Clovis Earn position as collateral to borrow USDC or USDT on Base or another enabled destination network.

Borrow USDC or USDT against eligible collateral. Supported Earn positions continue earning Vault yield while securing your loan.

You can start with an existing Earn position or a supported asset in your wallet. Follow the preparation steps shown by the app.

### Available Markets

| cbBTC/USDC | Single-collateral | Morpho   | USDC           |
| WETH/USDC  | Single-collateral | Morpho   | USDC           |
| USDC       | Multi-collateral  | Euler    | USDC           |
| USDT       | Multi-collateral  | Euler    | USDT           |

**Single-collateral markets** accept one specified collateral asset.

**Multi-collateral markets** accept up to three eligible collateral assets for one borrowed asset.

Each market is isolated. Collateral supplied to one market does not support debt in another.

Open a market to check its accepted collateral, borrowing rate, available liquidity, and risk parameters.

### Open a Borrow Position

1. Open **Borrow** and select a market.
2. In **Supply collateral**, choose an accepted asset and enter the amount.
3. For a Multi-collateral market, use **Add more collateral** to include another accepted asset if needed.
4. Enter the amount you want to borrow.
5. Select the **Destination Chain**.
6. Review the collateral, borrowing rate, fees, and resulting position health.
7. Switch networks if prompted, complete any required approvals, and confirm the wallet transactions.
8. Check your position in **Portfolio** and follow its transaction status in **Transactions**.

If you start with an underlying asset, the app may first deposit it into an Earn position before supplying it as collateral. Review the preparation steps and token amounts before confirming.
