# Earn

Supply supported assets to Clovis Earn Vaults, receive yield-bearing cloTokens, and use eligible positions as collateral.

Earn lets you Supply a supported asset to an Earn Vault and receive `cloToken` shares representing your position in that Vault.

You can keep the position Flexible, move it into a Lock Position, use it as eligible Borrow collateral, or Withdraw the corresponding underlying asset.

## An Earn Position Has Three Stages

1. **Supply:** provide an underlying asset and receive `cloToken` shares.
2. **Flexible:** keep the position in Earn, move it into a Lock Position, use it as eligible Borrow collateral, or Withdraw.
3. **Locked (Coming Soon):** commit the `cloToken` shares for the selected term while the position continues participating in the Vault.

### How Vault Shares Work

Your `cloToken` balance represents shares in the Vault. It is not a fixed one-to-one display of the underlying asset.

The amount of underlying asset represented by those shares depends on the current Vault share price.
