FAQ

Find answers to common questions about Clovis Earn, Withdraw, Borrow, Bridge, transaction processing, and recovery.

What Is Clovis?

Clovis is a cross-network DeFi platform that connects supported Earn, Borrow, and Bridge activity through one interface while users continue to use their own wallets.

Why Did My Source Transaction Confirm but the Result Has Not Arrived?

The cross-network action may still be processing. A confirmed source transaction does not always mean the destination asset or position is already available.

Open the transaction details and follow Transaction Status and Recovery. Do not submit the same action again while the original transaction is still being processed.

Why Did I Receive Fewer cloTokens Than the Amount I Supplied?

A cloToken represents a Vault share and is not fixed one-to-one with the underlying asset.

If the Vault share price is above 1, supplying 100 USDC can result in fewer than 100 cloUSDC. Those shares can still represent approximately 100 USDC at the time of Supply, excluding applicable fees and rounding.

See cloTokens and Vault Yield for a complete example.

Why Can I Not Withdraw My Underlying Asset?

You can Withdraw only from a Flexible position. If your shares are locked or being used as Borrow collateral, return them to Flexible through the applicable Unlock, Early Exit, repayment, or collateral-withdrawal process first.

The selected destination route may also be unavailable, have insufficient liquidity, or be paused. Check the message shown by the app.

Why Did Unlock Not Return the Underlying Asset?

Unlock returns cloToken shares to Flexible. Use Earn Withdraw separately to receive the underlying asset.

How Does Auto-Renewal Work?

Auto-Renewal is enabled by default. When it remains enabled, an eligible Lock Position begins another full Lock term after the current term ends.

Disable Auto-Renewal before the end of the current term if you want the position to unlock at maturity. Disabling it does not end the current term early.

Can I Start Borrow With an Asset in My Wallet?

Yes, when the app supports the asset and market. Follow the displayed flow to complete any required Earn deposit, conversion, or other preparation before the asset is used as collateral.

The selected Borrow market determines which collateral is accepted.

What Is the Difference Between Single-Collateral and Multi-Collateral Borrowing?

A Single-collateral Market uses one collateral asset specified by that market to support one Borrow asset.

A Multi-collateral Market can accept up to three eligible collateral assets in one Borrow position. Each Borrow asset still has its own position, collateral, debt, and Health Factor. Collateral is not shared across all Borrow positions.

Can I Partially Repay and Partially Withdraw Collateral?

Yes, when the app makes both actions available and the remaining position continues to meet the selected market's risk requirements.

Repaying debt and withdrawing collateral are separate actions.

Does Repaying the Full Debt Automatically Return My Collateral?

No. Full repayment clears the debt, but you must withdraw the released collateral separately.

Why Is an Action Unavailable?

An action can be unavailable because of the selected asset, network, market, route, available liquidity, capacity, position eligibility, or a pause.

Check the message shown by the app.

Where Can I Verify My Position?

Use Portfolio for the current position and available actions. Use Transaction History and linked block explorers to verify confirmed onchain activity.

Are Yield and Rewards Guaranteed?

No. Vault returns and additional rewards are not guaranteed. Vault performance depends on the strategies used, while additional reward programs are discretionary and may not apply to every Vault or user.
