Clovis Testnet Faucet Guide
The Clovis Testnet Faucet provides free testnet assets so you can try Earn vaults, borrowing, bridging, and other features across supported chains without risking real funds.
Available assets may include USDC, USDT, WETH, and a network-specific tokenized BTC asset.
Testnet tokens have no real-world value and may be reset at any time.
What You Need
Before getting started, make sure you have:
A compatible wallet installed (MetaMask, Rabby, or OKX recommended)
A desktop or mobile browser. A desktop browser such as Chrome, Firefox, or Brave is recommended for the smoothest experience.
A small amount of native testnet gas on your chosen network: Sepolia, BNB Testnet, Sei Testnet, or Base Sepolia.
1. Connect to Supported Testnet Networks

Most wallets (MetaMask, Rabby) will auto-detect the correct network when you connect to the faucet. No manual setup needed.

Notes
Switching RPC can fix failed or slow transactions
Testnet RPCs may be unstable → keep multiple options
2. Get Testnet Gas (if needed)
Faucet claims require wallet confirmation and a small amount of native testnet gas.
The faucet UI includes a Need gas? shortcut that links directly to the appropriate gas faucet for your selected network.

Note: Gas faucets are operated by external providers and may have their own restrictions: mainnet balance requirements, social login, CAPTCHA, or rate limits. These are outside Clovis' control.
⚠️ Clovis does not endorse third-party faucet websites. Verify the source and review transaction details carefully before approving any wallet interaction.
3. Claim Testnet Assets

Open the Faucet page
Connect your wallet
Select a network
Select an available testnet asset
Click Claim
Approve the transaction in your wallet
The testnet asset should arrive shortly
The available assets depend on the selected network.

The Faucet displays the current claim amount and cooldown for each asset. These values may vary by asset and network.
💡 Note: All assets distributed through the Clovis Faucet are testnet tokens with no real-world value. Testnet USDC and USDT are not issued by Circle or Tether. Testnet BTCB, cbBTC, WBTC, and WETH cannot be redeemed for real BTC or ETH.
4. Check Your Wallet
After claiming:
Open your wallet
Confirm that the claimed testnet asset has arrived

Token delivery may take a few seconds. The token symbol will depend on the selected asset and network.
Common Issues
Wrong network selected: Make sure your wallet is connected to the network selected in the Faucet.
Asset not available: Available testnet assets may differ by network.
Faucet cooldown reached: Wait for the cooldown shown in the Faucet interface to reset.
No gas for the claim transaction: Use the Need gas? link to get testnet gas from an external provider.
Tokens not showing: Use Add to Wallet after a successful claim, refresh your wallet, or manually import the correct testnet token contract.
Transaction failed or Faucet is unavailable: Try again later or check Discord for updates.
What's Next?
Now that you have testnet assets, try depositing into an Earn vault, supplying supported cloToken shares as collateral, borrowing another asset, or bridging across supported networks:
