# Supply

Follow the steps to supply a supported asset to a Clovis Earn Vault and create a Flexible yield-bearing position.

## Before You Start

Make sure your wallet:

* is connected to the Clovis app;
* holds the asset you want to Supply; and
* has enough native gas token for the source network.

## Supply an Asset

* Open Earn and select a vault.
* Select **Deposit**.

* Choose a supported network and asset, then enter an amount.
* Review the estimated yields, fees, and transaction details shown in the app.
* Switch networks if prompted, approve the asset if requested, and confirm the required wallet transaction.

* Check the resulting Earn position in Portfolio.

### After you deposit

Your position appears in Portfolio. The position can continue participating in the Vault, be moved into a Lock Position (Coming Soon), be used as eligible Borrow collateral, or be Withdrawn.

The number of `cloToken` shares you receive is based on the current Vault share price. You can receive fewer `cloToken` shares than the amount you supplied without losing part of your deposit.
