# Transaction Status and Recovery

Understand Clovis transaction statuses and learn when to wait, Retry, request a Refund, or contact support.

Cross-network actions do not always finish in one step. The source transaction can confirm before the destination asset or position becomes available.

## Check an Action's Status

1. Open the action in **Transaction History**.
2. Review the source and destination information shown.
3. Open any linked block-explorer transactions.
4. Follow the next action shown by the app.

Status labels and available actions can depend on the product and current processing stage.

### Recovery Actions

The app may display a recovery action when one applies to the current transaction.

#### Retry

Use **Retry** only when the app displays it for that transaction. Retry from the existing transaction details instead of starting a duplicate action.

#### Refund

Use **Refund** only when the app displays it for that transaction. Review the refund information and complete any required wallet confirmation.

#### Cooldown

If the app displays a Cooldown period, wait until the displayed time before returning to the transaction details.

Do not assume that every failed, delayed, or expired action supports the same recovery option.

## Before Contacting Support

Have these details ready:

* public wallet address;
* transaction hash;
* source and destination networks;
* asset and approximate amount;
* current status; and
* the exact error message shown by the app.

Never share a seed phrase, private key, wallet password, or sensitive signing information.
