# Withdraw

Learn how to convert Flexible cloToken shares back into the underlying asset and receive it on a supported network.

Withdraw converts Flexible `cloToken` shares into the corresponding underlying asset.

Unlock and Early Exit do not replace Withdraw. They return shares to Flexible first. 

## Withdraw an Underlying Asset

In the withdrawal flow shown here, the amount is entered in cloUSDC shares. Switch your wallet to Base when prompted and sign the required transaction. Review the destination details separately before confirming.

* Open the position in **Portfolio**.
* Select **Withdraw**.
* Enter the amount of `cloToken` shares to withdraw.

* Choose the destination network.
* Review the estimated underlying amount, route, and fee.
* Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
* Track the destination release in Portfolio or Transaction History.

### Why Is the Received Amount Different From the Share Amount?

`cloToken` represents a share of the Vault, not a fixed amount of the underlying asset. When you Withdraw, Clovis calculates the underlying amount using the current Vault share price.

Review the estimated amount shown by the app before confirming. See [cloTokens and Vault Yield](/clovis/earn/clotokens-and-vault-yield.md) for examples.

### Withdrawal Liquidity

The total value of a Vault may be different from the amount immediately available for Withdrawal on a selected network.

If sufficient liquidity is not immediately available, the action may remain pending or the app may show another available next step. Follow the status and instructions shown for that transaction.

### If Withdraw Does Not Complete

The source transaction can confirm before the destination asset arrives. See [Transaction Status and Recovery](/clovis/portfolio/transaction-status-and-recovery.md) and use a recovery action only when the app displays it.
